Madison Jazz Society is back this fall with a 4th Sunday Jazz Jam and Workshop.
The 4th Sunday starts with a workshop and then a traditional jam session format with a sign-up sheet. Check the Madison Jazz Society events page for the current schedule of upcoming jams, just in case something changes.
4th Sundays at COPA
3:30 – 4:30pm Workshop An instructor will teach tools for improvising over one or more of the selected songs..
4:30 – 6:30pm Jazz Jam Session Each jam will start with everyone in the workshop playing the “workshopped” song(s). We use a sign-up sheet so that everyone has the opportunity to step on stage and play a song they’re comfortable with..
